This Australian Girl Almost Lost Her Hand Due To Frostbite From The Canadian Cold

Australia in the summer might be tough, but Canada in the winter can be tougher. After going to a party and having too much to drink, this young woman got lost on her way home.

It didn’t take long for hypothermia to set in and after a couple of hours in the freezing cold, she got one of the nastiest frostbites I have ever seen. Before you read further, I must warn you, some images are quite graphic:

This is what her fingers looked liked after she was found: purple

In just a couple of days the her fingers started to blister

The day before the doctor decided to take action and cut the blisters with a scalpel
